After getting various pcx files from this group, I thought I'd try
importing one into Nascar using the paintkit.

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I can't import and can't
find anything in the manual either.

This is how I'm trying to do it.

1. Run paintkit.
2. Select Paint cars.
3. Choose a car.
4. Click on import (nothing happens).

Can somebody please advise on where I'm going wrong!

In order to import a car into the human's position you must have the PCX
file of the car in the same directory as the paintkit, AND it must be
named NASC94.PCX.  That's all you need.

In order to get the names of the other positions just *export* them one at
a time and then check the directory for the new PCX file.

You can only import if you had already exported.   This is used to
transfer cars between carsets or if you have edited a pcx file using a
painting programm.

He has a tutorial on how to paint some good cars.   I painted a QANTAS
car and was very pleased.   I followed Sean's advice.   If you are
