Do you consider Edge 3D is better than Stealth 3200 [2mb vram] for the purpose
of play games? I meant there are not so many games, right now, maybe not even
later, are taking the advantage of the 3D acceleration cards.

I'd pass on the Diamond Edge 3D. It's hard to find a card that runs
that slow in DOS, Windows is so-so and it only plays 3D games written
for that card itself and I hear that those are not even that
optimized. I have no idea if the Edge will support all the API
routines for direct3d or not. Also I hear that running a wheel/pedal
combo is a problem and the joyport cannot be disabled on the 3D edge.
So if you really like diamond and want 3D wait for the 3D stealth
series comes out. Many other 3D cards have shipped already or will do
so soon and buying any of them now is taking a risk that you will be
left out in the cold. BTW the stealth video series is a pretty solid
performer all around but is not a 3D card.
