CPR patch update

I have been able to get the sim to run with the renderer set
to Direct3D(Most hardware). Wow,what a difference. My frame rate went
from the mid ***s to 21-26fps in practice mode, while running a race
the frame rate went to 18-24fps. Also the brightness increased
dramatically without having to adjust it in the graphics section.

I still feel that the graphics of the cars in ICR2 is
superior to that of CPR,but overall I now feel that CPR is a more
realistic sim.

Practicing at certain tracks so far;Elkhart Lake for
one, my old braking and turn in points are much different in CPR than
they were in ICR2.  I seem to be able to drive the car in much deeper
into the turns before having to apply the brakes. And unlike ICR2
where you could and did stand on the brakes,a much more gentle and
realistic braking  technique is needed in CPR.

I have been playing around with the settings of the
Speed Sensitive Steering(currently set at 60%) and the non-llinear
Steering (currently ser at 40%). The car is more responsive going down
the striaghts, but is starting to get twitchy again. Anyone come up
with a decent set of values usuing a T2?

I think milwaukee had only one in '93 0r '94 for a car that Arie L.  who
blew his motor near the end of the race.  Still that is one.

Well, until it can at least start to "nudge the limits of racing
reality  (or at least see them in the horizon, although be it, very
distently)" CPR *must* have yellow flags! (I'am having a hard time
trying to remember a CART race without a yellow flag! (anyone know of

Yes.  I believe Laguna Seca this last year was yellow-free.
