"Alan Bernardo" <

Alan, go look at the start of the thread and write down the name of the
Postee.....(that would be Rodney Arndt.)  Then load the leaked beta demo
and exit...letting the credits roll...count with your fingers how many
times you see the same name.

Dave,

I've noticed.  hehe

Still, what's with all the CAPs?  That's what disturbs me.  It sounded as if
they guy wants to sound important, which still might be the case.

I saw the guy's post at a bunch of spots on the net.  In fact, the exact
same message was posted earlier, on this forum.

The mistake is mine, but what's with this guy?

Thank you.

But they guy still appears to me to be a little odd, posting in CAPs like he
did.  We all knew it was a leaked beta demo, didn't we?  What's he afraid
of?

I say he's still a nobody.  :)

But really, the guy struck me as that way, blasting off, in a kind of
child-like way.  Rodney may be who he is, but his post (CAPs and all) still
strikes me as odd.

Rodney is a dedicated Nascar sim racer, and he's obviously also an
emotionally dedicated beta tester of N2k3 who's trying to support this
product as best he can by giving the community (us!) information it needs to
evaluate said product properly.

I can see nothing wrong with this, and the fact that he wants us to know
about this still being an 80% finished beta demo is perfectly understandable
to me - and probably to anyone else who's ever participated in the
development and making of a new product.

Rodney's message may have sounded a little e***d, but that's how you sound
when you're enthusiastic :-)

Thanks for the info Rodney!

I was asked to post that message in order to avoid the confusion about an
incomplete demo and one that has bugs. We wanted to let everyone know that
many updates have been implemented since that release. I posted in caps so
the message would stick out. I posted it multiple times in other threads
when I saw others talking about possible problems or bugs.

Rodney thanks.  I have not issues with your post and in fact appreciate
them.
Just remember there are all kinds of people and someone always finds fault
with something, including myself many times :-)

IMPORTANT N2003 DEMO INFORMATION!

You're right, I'm nobody special. I'm no different than everyone else in
this world, I put my pants on one leg at a time. I apologize for coming off
as blasting as you call it. That was not my intent. It was apparent by some
of the posts that everyone didn't know it was a leaked demo. Papyrus asked
me to help them out and post that message.

Until the past week, I'm lucky if I post about 1 message a year on these
forums. One of the reasons why is because everyone becomes so defensive &
takes everything the wrong way. What happened to newsgroups being an
informative place to come read ideas, suggestions, get help, & find out
what's new & exciting? Why does every post have to turn into a complaint
forum & and pissing match?

Please hang with me a couple more weeks & I'll crawl back into my hole &
never post anything again. Let me apologize in advance for anything I may
say over that period of time that may offend anyone.
