Namast Jonny,

Try this:

Tools -> Options -> Send and set both mail and news formats to Plain Text.

HTH,

Mick.

Got it... Tools -> Options; Read tab; Fonts button; set
Proportional Font to Courier New and size to Smaller!

Woohoo!

That means you understand setup a LOT better than I do.  I barely understood
what you were describing...

I already have GP3(and F12CS).  I've just never used the telemetry in it.  It
just looks like...well, lines on a screen.  I haven't been able to gain any
useful info.  I figure I just don't know what to look for.  I can see that my
speed is lower than someone else's, but that doesn't really tell me how to go
faster.

Hi Eldred,

the most useful info in GP3 is probably the suspension travel values
coupled with the ride heights. You want to make the car ride as low as
possible in order to create more underside downforce without it hitting
bump stops during cornering. It's pretty complex since spring rates,
ARBs, ride heights and the bump stops determine whether the car is
hitting them or not, but reading the traces gives you a good idea which
part of the car needs the most attention.

You can make a well handling car without the telemetry, but to get the
most aerodynamic performance out of it, you will sure require it.

Does GP3 still have the *** torsionally-soft chassis of GP2?

I was most put out when I tried to reduce roll by stiffening
the *opposite* end of the car, and it didn't work...
