I'm about to upgrade to XP
Will Nascar 4 run ok on this O/S ?

yep. In my experance better than the older O/S, but Win2000 was the best
overall.

When you say Win2000 was the best overall, what are you basing that on?  Not
disagreeing with you, but I found Win2000 to be slower on my system than any
of the others.  And XP seems to be the most stable of any platform I've used
to date.

Again, not trying to say you are wrong in your opinions, but I was just
curious as to what you liked about Win2000, and/or disliked about XP.  Just
general thoughts too, not really looking for a debate.

Well on my systems which are AMD based. Win2000 was a better in performance
than XP. I think thats because of some of the extra fluff in XP more than
anything else. With that said I like some of those fluffy things and I'm not
hurting to bad for power so I'm running XP.  I still run Win2000 on my older
950 Slot A Athlon because XP was noticably slower on that box.
