N2/ICR2 Track Converter Question

N2/ICR2 Track Converter Question

by Don Chapma » Sun, 17 May 1998 04:00:00

I have the Rendition Version of Indycar 2, as well as Nascar 2 with the
Busch Grand National Expansion Pack. I also have the N2 -ICR2/ICR2 -N2
converter from The Pits, and the 3D Rendition Kits from The Sim Project .
So, my question is this:

When converting/enhancing tracks for Indycar 2, what is the prefered track
to use when there is more than one option? For example, is it preferable to
use the Nascar 2 converted Michigan, or the original enhanced Indycar 2
Rendition? Is it preferable to use the converted Busch Grand National
Nazareth, or The Sim Project Nazareth 3D Kit? The same question would apply
to Milwaukee and New England as well. Also, since there is a track number
limitation, what are the prefered converted tracks to use for Indycar 2 -
from a simulation, and just fun to race stanpoint?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

N2/ICR2 Track Converter Question

I usually convert the enhanced tracks...if ICR2 has Mich.  I'm not gonna
waste time with converting the N2 version.  and vice versa.  However I have
used the 3d ehancements from the Rendtition Ready website and they convert
very well, but the Sim Projects apparently use bigger textures and the
converter may have trouble with those....
experiment and have fun
