>How could you stand the popup in that game? Ick.

Well, for one, by concentrating on the absolutely fantastic visuals of the car
I'm pushing off the track :-)

Based on getting into the NRev demo, I went out and purchased N99 (I had all
the non-Nascar Papy sims).  Yes, it is pretty terrific.  But it doesn't hold a
candle to NRev's (arcade/sim/whatever) visuals and sounds.

If you change the view distance the popup goes away.

I made a change in the view distance and it looked great. Better than
NR1999...

Being hooked on ten/NROS/N2, and being that I read all of the bad NG posts,
I nevertheless downloaded it and I've enjoyed it. The graphics are very good
but I'll have to see how the full version turns out. I found out the push
was bad so I learned  to brake hard and believe it or not it's easy to win
by taking a late pit stop for a splash and go.

I'll probably have to buy it just for the fun of it....

Graphics are great.  Sound is nice.

Physics stink, though :(

Thats total BS. Popup is definitely very much there in either high or med view
distance.
