I just installed the new W98 40.52 drivers for my Ti4400. 10% gain in 3DMark
and nice image. The only game it has problems with (that I've tried) is LFS.
I get lots of flashes on the screen. I took out the OC'ing, so that's not
the problem. I put the old 30.82 drivers back in until someone can figure
this out.

On my machine I got a +1000 (9500->10500) in 3Dmarks with a Ti4600 and W98se
but:

Nascar2002 -4fps with same options (aniso/fsaa/vsync)/same track.
F12002 -1fps with same options (aniso/fsaa/vsync)/same track.
PowerDVD not working correctly with nView used to output to TV.

I did not try anything else, went back to 30.82 also.

LFS is broken under the 40.x drivers.

thats coz u have sync off. lfs has trbs with that and 40 family.
also lost tv out when playing vids under nview.
still have to check it more i guess

Is there a registry setting I can use to turn vsync on?

Hehe,
had a similar effect when updating drivers for my oldish GF2 GTS awhile ago.
3Dmark went up but FPS in sims went down.
Haven't touched 3Dmark since then.
