My beloved parents just called to say that they're planning on buying me a
day out at a race track, but they didn't know which track, or which
"programme" or whatever... just wondering if any of you fine people have
been on a racing day in the UK before and would like to offer me some
advice?

I'm looking for single-seater action somewhere within, say, a 100 miles of
Hertford. That'll include Silverstone, Rockingham, Mallory, Donington and
maybe others... Dad's wallet will stretch to about 150 quid.

So, anyone been on one of these days before? Where's the best place to go?
