Remco, I don't want to keep on answering that same question to
each and every poster here. You may want to check my explanation
in my reply to Ken Beard. In it, I also state that I will profusely,
and publicly apologize if I am incorrect.

I hope that will assuage your concerns.

If not?

yeah I have N1, N2 and N3, ICR1 and ICR2 (damn no icr3!). plus track packs. Now
I have to buy Nascar Legends just so I can convert Riverside

Must say I am speechless, revved.

By what mastery of deductive reasoning do you put these two messages
together and decide I must have not bought GPL? I never said WHEN I
bought it did I? You just assumed it was last week or something.

Let me say it again. I BOUGHT GPL. I NEVER PLAYED IT PRIOR TO BUYING IT.
I HAVE OWNED IT FOR OVER A YEAR.

I will admit that I didn't play it much until I bought my new machine
in December, as the frame rate on my slower PC made it too hard to
drive.

Since then, my only problem has been sleep ;-) .

However you arrived at this conclusion, I am not going to call you
names, revved. Just ask you to stop telling lies about me.

Cheers and thanks to the other folks who read first, jump to
conclusions later.

Hey Ed,

We're cool!  I think everyone is a bit edgy around here anytime the "W" word
comes up lately.  Much of what was in my posts was directed at the newsgroup
as a whole, and not specificaly at you, although some of that did come out
like I was jumping on you.

I value your friendship and your opinion as well, even if I don't always
agree with it <grin>.  I just wanted to jump in for the guy since he seemed
to have been misunderstood, and to help you see where he was coming from as
I read it - and to try to keep a friend on the right track and not make a
possible mistake.  If I didn't care, I'd have flamed ya or ignored it and
let you burn on your own :-)

BTW, he did state in a post below that he did indeed have GPL for over a
year.  Hopefully he'll understand that you just got the wrong impression of
what he said at first, which is easy to do across the 'net vs. face-to-face
conversation.  Sometimes the brain wants to see something a certain way,
it's just hard to see it differently.

Rrevved, why does this kind of stuff come from you every so often?  There
was nothing in his post to indicate that he had been using GPL prior to
purchasing it.  You read it that way, and then you demand a formal, specific
post to clear this up, but you're the only person who interpreted what he
wrote in that way.

You provide a lot of useful feedback on sims, but it often gets drowned out
by your perceived role as the swaggering cop, combing DejaNews back posts or
demanding others to refute your accusations.

The attitude probably turns people off as well.

I profusely apologized in a later post.

Would it be possible for you to actually read the posts
before jumping the gun?

Nah, don't think so.
