NIRA/Burnout help needed!

by Gene Gagn » Tue, 28 Mar 2000 04:00:00

Hey guys, I used to have Burnout ( ages ago, someone "borrowed" it ) and I
decided to buy the Import version as I like FWD cars and thought it might be
fun.. that and it was $9.99 at EB. Well I get home and it works ok except
for the fact that I cannot use my pedals on my wheel/pedal combo. I have the
Logitech Wingman Formula ( yellow) with USB connect. Whats up with this ? I
checked for patches or upgrades but NADA, ZIP! Is the company still in
business? Bethesda has about the lamest page I have seen for tech support. I
need help, I don't wanna drive with a joystick or keyboard.

Gene,
I might be wrong but I think that game runs through a DOS window and I don't
think USB ports are recognized by DOS games. I'm not positive though:-)
Thanks,

if so, loose it.  nira chokes on 2 game devices.  otherwise, have the

Its the only stick I got hooked up.... I think I got the latest Logitech
drivers as I just reformated the old HD and could not find my CD for the
wheel and got the newest one off the web... although it was dated for
sometime in fall of 99.

The wheel part works but the pedals are a no show, I don't know whats up
with that.
