Playstation Emulators and PC Wheels

I'm looking for a little feedback and advice on the Playstation emulators
for racing games such as GT2.

I understand that many here have gotten the ePSXe emulator to work with
their PC using a gamepad, but what about running games like GT2 and whatnot
with a standard USB PC wheel like the Logitech Wingman Formula Force, etc.

I'm a bit reluctant to go out and spend the cash if I can't use my wheel as
I have no interest in using a gamepad to play a racing game with (analog or
not).

I've heard that some have gotten their wheels working but with tremendous
deadzones that make driving almost impossible! Is this true, or has anyone
out there been able to master the game setup?

Thanks in advance!
Jay J

I have an old LWFF wheel and the deadzone in GT2 using epsxe makes it
impossible to race with. If the deadzone problem could be worked out it
would be a kick-ass game to play on the pc. As far as I know it affects all
wheels.

There is a big deadzone with wheels in the emu's indeed, making it
impossible to use a wheel with GT2. So far I haven't found a solution
