not at all, main problem is the steering response, it's just too slow. Its a
fun game that does many things right, but the physics are terrible.

Anyway as i said it may not be realistic in its driveing model, but
hell it sure is fun to play, and to me that in the end is what it's
all about.
Really? Name a better one.
Thanks.

When you watch the TV view in replay or whatever the karts look as though
they handle fairly realistically.
The problem is that this is the only basis that some so called "sims" have
to work with it seems.
Watching the TV views it replicates reality but the in car action is not
quite accurate.
It sorta looks like they tape an afternoons racing on Eurosport and worked
from that.
The reason is that the karts "appear" to handle as they should, the problem
is that you have to have another style of driving from this to real karts.
I know for a fact that especially with FF on, that at the first corner of
PFI you should have a number of stresses on the kart.
Firstly, You should feel the lack of grip. Well maybe not lack, but the back
end likes to swing a little.
The kart should feel as if its dragging left. It should be generally hard to
handle.
If you look at it in the TV view it gives that impression but while you are
driving all you need to is keep the wheel locked right.
Again, the karts at times seem to need opposite lock from TV views...... in
kart? NO WAY!
Its a nice representation and PFI is modelled very well but the physics need
tweaking to be more sensitive, GPL like if you will.
