I've got a few questions about the hawaii package which I downloaded a
few days ago.

1.  How do I determine the version that I've got?  I've read about a
"forced download" and would like my edition to be up to date.
2.  What's the most recent version?
3.  What are the enhancements made to the sim, if using the multi.exe in a
     2 player modem race?

I've all of the doc's with the version I got, but they seem to skim over
the multi.exe enhancements.

I'd love to try the full system out, but LD charges prohibit that
possiblity, thus I'm stuck with two player races at best.

Thanks in Advance
Kev.

Reginald - the "autodownload" will let you know if your Hawaii executable
versions are out of date, and will automatically download new ZIP files to
you if your files are incorrect.

We simultaneously send out new versions to the sierra web site and on
Hawaii itself, and we will try to give you 24 hours notice of updates when
possible so you'll be able to plan an FTP download rather than having to
get the update via long distance.

The current version (as of last Friday) of TERM.EXE is V1.49; MULTI.EXE is
V1.33-M.

You can check your version with quick eye when NASCAR (Multi) is
booting up.  Watch for a version 1.33-M for the latest version.
Previous version is 1.31-M.

The biggest enhancements is the chat function keys, the F2-shift
toggle for track positions of opponents (in version 1.33 this is not
sticky) and the ability to use your LAN card, instead of a null modem
cable.  This gives me a latency of .03 instead of the .08 I was
getting with the null modem cable.
