Thrustmaster Force Feedback problems

Hi,
I'm using a thrustmaster force feedback wheel, usb, win2000pro. I'm having
some problems with it disconnecting in games.
In GP3 it disconnects at anytime during a race leaving you with no control
and on full throttle.
In Rally 2000, everytime I start a  new stages I have no input from the
wheel for exactly 22 seconds, then it starts working again.
Anyone had this and know how to fix it. Guillemont don't support serial
connection in Win2000 so I have to use the usb.

Cheers

Dave

Are you running its profiler software in the background to re-map
keystrokes?

I was kicking me out of GPL whenever I had it running.

No,
I haven't played around with that function...it's pretty much out of the box
with the 216 drivers

I was having the same problem with my Guillemot FFB wheel. Changing
from USB to serial fixed it. The wheel has worked flawlessly since.

This is the Guillemot FF wheel, right?

Do you plug the wheel directly into your PC's USB port?  Or do you use
an external hub that you plug your wheel into, that in turn plugs into
the PC?

If you plug it directly into the back of your PC, and you are
experiencing input freezes, I would be curious to know more about your
system's configuration so that I can look into the issue (my day
job...).

Email me at the address listed in this post and I'll explain.

Regards,
Rob Lacroix
