GPL - Stationary camera view during Live Feed (CTRL + V)

G'day Folks,

While viewing a _live feed_ during a race I stumbled across a key
sequence that I don't recall being mentioned in this group before.
It's certainly not in the manual.

Start a race from the back of the grid, and let the field disappear
into the distance. When the game retires you, which should occur in
about 30 seconds or so, go to the live feed and select one of the
front runners and choose gearbox camera view. Now hit CTRL + V keys
together and the camera will freeze at the current position, and you
should see the remainder of the field scream past. Neat!!

For a slightly different perspective, try the rear suspension view.
Any of the camera views work, but only during live feed. It doesn't
seem to work for replays or if you are still in the race. Use the V or
C keys to return to the action.

Cheers .... Russ

I've done this in a different way. When in the track screen with the
small replay screen in the corner, just find a car and camera angle you
like, and when you see it, just click the drivers view to your car in
the drop-down menu. Since your car is in the pits, GPL doesn't quite
know what to do and so freezes the view. I did this at Zandvoort once
and had a great view of all the action into Tarzan!

Cheers!

Graeme you're actually doing the same thing! CTRL V is a shortcut for
selcting your own car, and when your car is not on the track it freezes
the camera.
