I have just downloaded the 3DFX patch from The Pits and when I run it it
opens a dos box which says 'Please run this installation'.

What am I doing wrong???

You have to be smarter then the game first. Sorry if I seem mad but there
is no such problem of this.

Absolutely. The patch uses an installshield installer so there is no
possible way that it would open a DOS box.
