N2 - Restrictor Plate Removal

Saw a note on restrictor plate removal for N2.  I would like to do this so
I can get the cars up to 210, etc like the good ole days.  I tried the
recommended solution and it didn't work.

I changed the BLAP in Talladega.TXT from 49800 down to 45000.  We saw no
difference.  Still laps in high 180's and low 190's.  Is there something
else I need to change? .

Can anyone help us?  My goal is to get the cars to go 210 or so.  I at
least want a 205 ave for racing speed.

                                                        Thanks

Im not sure but you have to change the first number in the SPDWY line if its a 0
change it to 1 or vice versa.

Hi Russ
Bet you noticed it was harder keeping up with the AI cars after your
BLAP change :+0  To remove the restrictor plates, change the first
number after SPDWY to a 0 instead of a 1.  That'll do it.

Hope that helps ya!

There is a line that says spdway 0  *** ***  .  The o means no ristrictor.
Changed to a 1, you have a restrictor.

BLAP is the time for AI qual times. Lower #, they qual faster. Raise #,
they qual slower.
RELS is the one to change, to make the AI's faster. Dega is the only one
you'll have to change, to get running faster after taking off restrictor
plate. Set RELS 115 and then fine tune in Nascar2 game settings. The
rest of the tracks are adjustable through the nascar2 game strengths
settings.
The first number 0 in SPDWY removes restritor plate.... SPDWY 0 42 45

Go into the dega text file.  Find the line that says speedway.  Change the
first #  from 1 to a 0.

: BLAP is the time for AI qual times. Lower #, they qual faster. Raise #,

: RELS is the one to change, to make the AI's faster.

This is true except for the fact that BLAP is only for qualifying.  BLAP
will make them run faster laps in ALL conditions.  RELS will also bump up
their speed in ALL conditions.

Qual or Race these two lines make a huge difference, especially when used
together.

If you are having a problem in one specific area, then you may be better
off going into the DRIVERS2.TXT file and playing with those numbers to
cure what the problem is.
