I have seen various methods of keeping your pedals from sliding over the
years. I thought I'd share my very simple solution for those of you with
slippery carpets, 'cause I've never seen this method mentioned before.

4 beer caps screwed in upside down into the base of your pedals. Easy and
very effective.

Even easier (old boating trick): mix some coarse sand with epoxy paint,
apply to pedals.  Non-skid; lasts forever.

I don't know if some sand is going to keep the pedal base from sliding on a
carpet.  Results must vary.

I thought we were talking abt. feet slipping off the pedals here.  If the
base itself is sliding around, yes, sand & epoxy would help, but something
else (*** mat, Velcro) might be less abrasive on yer Aubisson.  If on a
wooden floor, another old trick: beeswax.
