dxtweak setup ?

by Txl » Tue, 04 Jun 2002 02:55:39

Hello

Is there a site with the "dxtweak setup for dummies" with the latest dxtweak
utim for XP and the setup tricks.

I'd like to try AGAIN F1 2001 with the mods and so on using my Act labs.

Besides that did you see that Actlabs lowered the price of the new pedals
and the shipping to europe ?

Thanks

It looks like my previous post went dead, so here's the repost, i've found
dxtweak2 but I don't know how to set it properly, any help anybody ?
Is there a way to activate it only in F12001 since in GPL I'm happy with the
"normal" calibration ?

thanks

This is from Fat n Slo's post in another thread.
when you start dxtweek2 first make sure you have your pedals
selected...there is a drop down box near the top.  Then if you have split
axis, you will see 3 tabs(wheel, gas brake) on the right, choose the Xor Z
or whatever your system configures as for the gas...adjust the Center value
to near the max. then move the max out.  For most users the following 3
numbers should work.
min=0 center=254 max=290.  play with the adjustments til the value reported
on the far left for each pedal is 32767.
According to Fat, anything over 32767 will be seen as deadzone.

Also make sure you have the latest version of DXTweak2, which allows you
to save and restore settings.  And BTW Papy stuff doesn't care what you
do with DXTweak2 since they use their own calibration values.
