Go into GPL and calibrate the brakes BEFORE running ctfj3. Then run ctfj3,
somewhere around -85 to -90 setting for the R axis will do the trick. Then run
GPL and do NOT recalibrate the controls.

What do probably didn't do:

Calibrate GPL WITHOUT running cftj.
Then exit to desktop, start cftj and then start gpl. Don't calibrate
again. I have set the R-axis to -89 (yep, negative). I didn;t change
the other settings.
If it doesn't work, let me know, we'll look further then.
