CTFJ3.20 & LWFF ?

by Peter Prochazk » Sat, 21 Aug 1999 04:00:00

In some recent posts a utility called CTFJ3.20 was mentioned, AFAIK it helps
calibrating josticks/wheels and can remove deadzones. What exactly can it do
for me? I have a LWFF USB and TMF1 pedals in the SBLive Gameport.
In GPL I have noticed that even the 180 degs. travel of the LWFF can not be
fully used. While calibrating, the wheel gives a min value of 1 and a max of
656 before the wheel is on its stops. Can CTFJ help me with that ? Or is
there another solution?
Just asking about the benefits a utility (before all a tweaker) can give me
before I install it and maybe get endless troubles for nothing.
Thanx!

There are some utilities on the logitech site which help with  calibration
etc.

I have used the CTFJ3.20 program with the LWFF wheel, and found no other use
for it than changing deadzone. But take a look at it, and don't worry for it
to mess up your system.

To take full use of the wheel travel in GPL, adjust the steering ratio
slightly in the game instead. The calibration values you have is perfect,
don't start to mess with them.

CTFJ3.20 & LWFF ?

Hi  Mauritz, one friendly question:

can you or anybody explain me, why in your post(s) you put that "SV"
into the subject line?
My newsreader considers thread-following posts with new headers as new
posts and starts a new thread. Makes it very inconvenient to read.
