Somebody said that they were done with F1 because they were going to
focus on NASCAR Thunder.  Personally, I think the use of the F12k2
engine in NT should indicate that EA is quite happy with the F1 series
and will continue it.  I think the person who said they were finished
with F1 assumed that ISI developed NT, when in fact they just supplied
the base engine to Tiburion.

Need for Speed : Porsche Unleashed has a great***pit view.  I think the

I have read an unverified statement about the demise of the EA F1 series in
an article that was mainly about the closing of Microprose UK. (Sorry --
didn't bookmark it.)

It would be really interesting to know what EA's licensing deal is. Here's
a likely scenario: The deal ran for three years, and when it was time for
renewal, someone (with the initials B.E.) got a bit greedy... :)

wrote somtehing like this:

The answer is yes: NFS2 SE. It was the first NFS title with hardware
accelerated 3D graphics, and the cocpit view was dropped probably
because they didn't bother to do a 3D cocpit...

Doesnt exist.

Only really need to duck from Yourself and the ever-entertaining RedTEd in
that respect.

Good point.  So close to release though, and I have not seen one screenshot from
the***pit for NFSHP2.  It could be great fun if they use the NFSPU physics.

If they used the same basic engine as PU then it could be cool.  Nothing
like getting drunk and running from the cops. :) And the best part is no
real jail when you loose.
