I'd say NASCAR Racing 2003 Season followed by Live for Speed and hopefully
Racing Legends.

1) NR2003 - I don't think it will be much better than NR2002 just more
fluff. However its the last of the line which means it could have a very
long life like GPL
2) LFS- Even though I'm not that impressed with it myself.
3) Racing Legends- If it ever happens.

For me the biggest thing to wait on will be hard ware upgrades. I think once
I max out my current motherboard I'll have a hard time justifying any major
spending.

Race Driver *might* come good, and (outsider's bet) Codemasters' take on
'IRL'.

In terms of a significant step forward like GPL in 98, I would say the only
likely contender is Racing Legends. Sure it has to live up to its promise as a
*** racing sim, and plenty here doubt if the project will succeed, but in
terms of who is going to produce the next "big one" I see little other prospect.

Februrary - Nascar 2003
Next spring - f1 2003

Dunno of anything worthwhile coming out.  I'll possibly get NT2003
despite every reason not to.

Good call. I forgot about the IRL game. After watching the last few IRL
races I'd move that to the top of my list. If the online racing is as good
as a Papy game that could be a ton of fun.
