No, but you can send and receive IP packets. The BT Interactive helpdesk chap said,
"You should have no problem hosting GPL races provided you stay online during the
race". "Online?" I questioned. "Well because of the firewall you can't host races
remotely and then go offline", he answered. "I think I understand", I replied, "anyway,
I plan to take part in the races". "You should be okay, then", he said. It remains to
be seen, but they are very helpful and seem concerned to assist people to do things
during the trial period.
Wrong numbers. 256 kbps upstream, 2 mbps downstream. The worst recorded upstream so far
in the trial in 238 kbps. Should be okay for a full grid with a bit of GPL file
tweaking.
