Thanks to the guys who told me how to get the patch.  Got the game working with
the Momo wheel, but have two problems.
1.  I don't feel any feedback through the wheel.  I did go to the core.ini
rolder and change to allow_force_feedback = 1   Do I need to do anything else
to get FF working?   Is there a way to adjust the amount of FF?

2.  When entering driver info, name, helmet color, etc., I get a window saying
changes can't be saved?  Any pointers here?

Again, thanks to everyone for all the help.

Regards, Ed

1. You can decrease the max steering torque number to increase effects
strength. (I think, could be the other way around). You just have to mess
with it to find a good setting you like.

2. Your player.ini file might be set to read only. It's in your players
directory.

Are you using the original Momo?  If so, these are my settings, copied
from another GPL Momo user:

[Joy]
allow_force_feedback= 1
force_feedback_damping= 5000 ;this is actually FF Strength
force_feedback_latency= 0.0045 ;FF Latency, use a low #
max_steering_torque= 2800 ;this is actually FF Damping, best results when
set about half of FF Strength setting

That latency figure looks way too low for a typical momo.  Ever tried using
0.1+?

You use an original Momo?  What are your settings?  I'll give 'em a shot.
