How in the #%*%@ do you get an IPX network set up for games????

Just got Motoracer-have two Win95 machines and the network works fine,
using only IPX/SPX protocol for coax connection. Motoracer WILL NOT
allow a connection (the buttons are greyed out showing it's not even
available...) with IPX. Has anyone else done it with two Win95
machines? If so, could you post the settings you have in Control
Panel-Networking section, or send me to a site that has game specific
networking tips????

Thanks in advance,

Wally

I don't have that particular game, but Iv'e ran lots of IPX games on my
home network.  Th WIN95 games run with no problem.  The DOS games I have
to run a DOS IPX driver first.  I have Linksys NIC cards and the driver
is Ether.com.  If your game is a true WIN95 game I would think it would
work if your already running IPX.  Can you see the other machines when
you go into Windows explorer?  In your IPX setup...try manually setting
the "Frame Type" instead of Auto.
  Hope this helps...

Can you e-mail me a copy of your DOS network driver? my cards don't have
any Dos drivers and maybe your driver would be compatible.
