ICR at Indy

I was racing at Indy today on ICR, and I got hit in the back twice while I was
driving on pit lane approaching my pit and also when I was making my way
out of the pits and going through the warm up lanes.  Why did this happen?
I was using the AI patch that I got on didnt.doit, and the drivers.txt files
from the ICRS series.  Maybe it was the AI patch, anyone have this experience?

Same happened to me. The patch obviously doesn't fix all the bugs on this
track. Papyrus really has some work to do to convince me this track was
worth the $32.95 I paid for it...

It's not the AI patch, I had this happen at New Hampshire.  I was peacefully
making my way out of the pits after a quick pitstop when I was *SLAMMED*
in the rear by none other than Nigel Mansell :-)  There was an accident
out on the course, so had I had the yellow flags turned on, I'm sure it
would have been under yellow...

Isn't this realistic - I seem to remember something like this happening
to Mansell this year ?

Yes - I am British before you ask.

Yeah, at Indy this year Mansell got rear-ended in the slow-down lane of
turn three by Dennis Vitolo.  Vitolo actually got up on top of Mansell's
car...

The cars that are hitting you do it because the AI system with ICR is not
that hot. Apperently the cars do not "see" you. Best be is to enter the pits
before the computer cars start to pit or 1 lap after.
