Sorry Joe, you probably wouldn't like Wipeout (It is an Anti-Gravity
Racing Game).  I have an optimized version for my 3D Rage that came
with my Sony, and I think it is excellent, but given your distaste for
things with no wheels, you probably wouldn't care for it.

Dan.

What I have heard about MotoRacer:

BMG Interactive (the distributor of the game,  not the programmers) went
out of business or is restructuring or some shit like that.  That caused
the game to be put on hold indefinetly here in the US.
With the awesomeness of this game, I find it very hard to believe that
they couldn't find anyone else to distribute it though.  Jeez, I'll
distribute it for crying out loud. So there must be some other kind of
legal jam up going on

I've been checking E.B. about once a week to see if the game is
available in the U.S.
Last time I asked, they didn't even have it on their pending release
list.  Since Delphine makes the game, I was hoping Electronic Arts
would handle distribution. They handled other Delphine releases.
Its a shame. I'm a motocross fanatic, and this is the first MX game
that I really felt captured the "essence" of MX.
I can only base this on the demo track. I saw the full version screen
shots contain races in the snow and on the Great Wall of China.
Not exactly realistic, but hell, if its fun, I won't complain. Heh.

I don't know if it's any help but Electronic Arts have their logo all
over (kind of) the version I bought in the UK.  The first thing you
see when you load the game is an EA splash screen which I don't
remember seeing in the demo.  I haven't seen any info on the game at
EA's web site, though.  Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.

I finished the second part (all tracks backwards) of the Championship
last night on the medium level.  This activates the pocket bike mode.
This is hilarious to play and good fun but the game loses _ALL_
reality here.  The pocket bikes have similar performance to the full
size ones.  Can you imagine an 18" high bike doing +200mph?  Can you
imagine coming off it at that speed?

Best fun I've had in ages.  I really like the game.

Cheers ...... Pete
