No way. Since upgrading my sys. I can now run this game at less than
100% cpu occ. finally, and I must say that it's fun. I've only been
playing it some 3 weeks, but things have definitely moved on from GP2.
Whereas with that game, once the back end went it was goodbye/canned
spin time, I'm finding with GP3 and can catch back end slides quite
easily, though not always and riding the curbs has now become possible
instead of the complete nightmare it used to be - a major frustration
when the real F1 cars were able to do so all the time. Also, what I
have learnt in GPL has so far been reasonably useful with GP3.
Ok, it's been at least a couple of years, if not longer, since the last
time I played GP2, so my memories of how that game felt have long since
faded but those were 2 of the major gripes about GP2 that really used to
***me off. However, without getting the old warhorse back out and
running it I'll stick to my opinion that this is a GP* upgrade and it
ain't that bad physics wise as it used to be. Guess I'll have to get
hold of some of the other current crop of F1 sims that are doing the
rounds in order to compare. That F1RC sounds like fun. :)
