N4 vs. Heat

Try playing with some of the settings in the setup for the car, you can
drastically change how the steering responds

Also try changing your Linear Steering setting.. I think lower is less
sensitive

> - N4 steering seems too sensitive, even at 32:1
> + N4's AI does not ram you from behind during start/restart
> + N4 has Indy and Pocono (woo hoo)
> + N4 smoke rules!
> + N4 damage model rules!
> + N4 Multiplayer rules!
> + N4 has multiplayer yellows
> + N4 has a save game feature

<G> And I just wanted to reply that a save game feature would be a
negative thing instead of positive :)

N4 physics are far superior than Heat, take a real world stock car driver
and plug his setup into heat then N4 and they will see N4 is a whole lot
more realisitc

Good List, however, you couple buy a 40GB HD for $100 bucks or so and run as
many games as you want.  I'll be running both to get the best of both.

How so? How can an *option* ever be a negative thing?

I  prefer N4s' graphics and physics much better. I thing heat looks
cartoonish as I have said before. The only thing I like in heat better is
the FF.

They have to do the GPL in-game save patch first..........

Marc.

You act like you're speaking from experience... do you have real world Nascar
setups?  If so... PLEASE Share!  That would be a great thing to try... IMHO.
Then we'd really see how close these physics models are to the "real world".
Besides, it has to be better than the setups I come up with on my own.
Unless, of course, it's a "bottom feeder's" setup... :-)

Never argue with an idiot.  He brings you down to his level, then beats you
with experience...
