Oh come on Eldred. "Gumball Rally" has it all over "Canonball Run".
At least for realism and sensitivity of direction. ;o)

No one has mentioned the musical score, which was magnificent.

OMG! What a farce Stroker was...one of Burt's worst career decisions....
Six Pack wasn't bad...at least it's more bearable than Stroker...
And I think "Cannonball" has it all over "Gumball"...:-)
Another excellent film.

Let me know if you want a copy and I'll see what I can do. The TV
paper lists it at 161 minutes which would require two regular DVD's.

I wish they would have made a series of the legendary Goggles Pizano.
"This year we may have lost the race, but next year we'll use Flintrock
Radials and set the pace." lol

It has aired on SPEED in the last 18 months or so. Given that they're
starting to feature movies as part of the Autorotica series, I'd say it may
get another go.
As I remember, it was well-done and interesting to watch.

"Fl?klypa Grand Prix" for more information see
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0073000/, atleast I thought it was the best
racing movie when I saw it in the cinema at the age of ten, when it was
released in 1975. :-)
