Bizzare GP3 problem - installed it earlier on the Win2K partition of a
dual-boot
Win2K/Win98 setup. Worked fine. Decided to get rid of Win2K completely, so
repartitioned, reformatted and did a fresh install of Win98. Installed GP3 -
fatal exception on startup, whether I'm patched to 1.13 or not. Anyone else
have
experience with anything like this?
Win98 2nd ed,
DX8.0a
Voodoo 3 3000 - tried both latest official and beta drivers
Logitech FF GP, 3.62 drivers

I had a similar problem with Flight Simulator 2000. At some day it also
produced a fatal exception at startup. I presumed it had been an error in
the registry.

My solution:

* Rename gp3.exe to something other, like gp3-test.exe

* Start gp3-test.exe

* If it works, rename to original file name.

It worked for FS2k. Why not for GP3?

is your PC overclocked?
