GPL: Monaco track update help!

by Nicolas Turgeo » Fri, 24 Jan 2003 11:22:41

Hi folks,

Wow, what a great game GPL still is, with a faster computer and updated
graphics!

I'm trying to install Darkgreen's Monaco update (from site
http://www.racesimcentral.net/), without success (it
won't load the track and abort the weekend).  I have no problems with other
track updates, only this one.  To be really sure, I restored the original
Monaco data from the GPL CD, and copied monaco.zip's contents into the
monaco directory, to make sure nothing had been corrupted.

Anybody knows what I'm missing (apart from the beautiful Monaco graphics
;-) )?

Thanks!

-Nicolas

GPL: Monaco track update help!

I have a MSI GF4 TI-4200 (64MB) with the latest NVidia drivers, using
Direct3D...  Perhaps someone had the same problem and was wiser the me in
solving it?  Since every other track is working, I assume some file must be
missing, I'm actually surprised it works for anybody!  Could it be some
other upgrade to Monaco that must be there before Darkgreen's monaco.zip is
copied?

Thanks,

-Nicolas
