NFS:PU and Braking

by aws600 » Tue, 13 Jun 2000 04:00:00

I've noticed that in NFS:PU the brake lights of my car do not light up
until I've depressed the brake pedal roughly half way.  Is this simply
faulty brake lights, or am I not braking at all until the pedal is
depressed half way?

I've checked my wheel calibration and the settings of the game (no
deadzone configured) and everything is good.  GPL works great and
responds to small movements of the brake pedal.  So it's not the
hardware...

I never thought I'd purchase a NFS game, but this one is alot of fun to
play.  I still think it lacks something in conveying a sense of
traction with the pavement, but it's nice to see the physics engine
model oversteer and understeer.

Hi aws600(?)!

Look into the settings-screen of NFS:PU, maybe you have set a too wide death-zone...
