good vendors for GeForce3?

Hi All,

Any suggestions on which vendors might be reccommended for GF3?  There are
several out there and I don't know much about them (VisionTek, Asus, etc.).
I.E., which ones seem to have the most trouble-free drivers?  The best
support?  Or which just work best?  Thanks in advance for any advice.

As far as drivers go you don't have to worry there because the are all
pretty much the same really. Most people use the Nvidia referance drivers.
The OEm drivers are usally just the Nvidia ones with the OEM logos.  I have
had good luck with Hercules and Gainward/Card Expert brands of Nvidia cards.
The big thing to watch is the core and memory speeds. Some of the cheap
cards have sub standard memory. I'm not sure if that is a big of a problem
with the GF3 as it was with the MX cards or not. I have heard that the MSI
cards are a little fuzzy on higher res/ big monitor combinations, but have
no personal experance with them. ASUS makes a nice card, but they are usally
one of the higher priced ones.
