It varies from person to person, computer to computer.  In my case it was a
flat-out bust.

The profiler is a pretty large, and important, part of the device for many
of us :)

The drivers didn't even work for me.  Kept being recognized as a DFP,  and
was unuseable.

It is not buttons.  The shifter uses pots.

If it ain't right, it ain't right oh masked man hiding behind funky handle
:)

And I have done a lot about it.  Parts have been replaced.  Software has
been reinstalled and reinstalled.  Several computers have been used.
Logitech called many times.

In other words, you don't have a clue what you are talking about bud.

Why is the profiler only important for 'some' user. I've never used it, so
what am I missing?

If you use several games that require different controller conigurations, or
if you want to program the buttons in some cases, you need to create a
profile for that game and set it up.

Sorry, still don't see a need for it. All my sims need slightly different
setting which I set in game, thus negating the need for the profiler.
