I just logged onto the hawaii network to setup my new series. and noticed
that there was a forced download of hawaii.zip. I bypassed the download
since i only wanted to create the series and nt race. Was this a new
version of hawaii, and will it be at the web site soon. Thank you for
your attention to this post.

BTW the first race of the WWR (weekend warrior racing) series will be
held this Saturday at 11 am. This is a series where the emphasis will be
on having fun and as much as door to door racing as possible. Contact me

I logged on earlier today and got the same thing.  I went ahead with the
download...  it is a new version.  Version 2.50.....  I don't know what
changes have been made in this version yet.

There is some confusion about levels of HAWAII code.  
I just checked their web page, it still says:
"May 9, 1996 There's a NEW Version of Hawaii! Download it now!"

It looks to me like the 5/09/96 level does not add anything to the
5/3/96 level in the way of executable files.

I sure wish we had a way of knowing when it is to our advantage to
download the new version from the Papyrus web page.

available (multicar, skill level explanation file, etc).
