MSFF & GP2 ?

by Karl Branki » Wed, 19 Jan 2000 04:00:00

Hi,

I saw GP2 for 4.99. I now have a MSFF wheel.
Would this be compatible ?
I seem to remember something about GP2 not being compatible with digital
devices.
I would run GP2 through a Win 98 dos window - would this prevent the MSFF
wheel from working.
I would like to play this game but only have this controller (MSFF).

Thanks

Karl

It works with GP2 in a dos window. Just make a profile with Alt and Space
assosiated with the shift-buttons. I think it is Alt and Space when GP2 is
in joystick mode, so check out what it wants...

I haven't got it to work with split axis though. GP2 recognizes the axes but
I can't get them calibrated.

The game that doesn't work with MSFF is NASCAR 2.

GP2 and MSFF work perfect for me in a dos window under Win98. Just you
lose abit with there being no force-feedback.
