I run the 3dfx version of Burnout and I just installed it tonight.  I can't
seem to get the thing to shift at all, Thru my gp1 or the keyboard.... I
patched and everything, should I just reinstall

Thanks

I would try a reinstall,  I was having alot of problems with network play and
such until I reinstalled.  I believe the initial culprit was me using Run to
install thriugh windows 95.  So I did a reinstall using the Auto run with the
CD and everything works fine. I also commend you for doing your own shifting.

By the way just my two cents on the Burnout Vs. NHRA issue

I plan to own both   Man I love Bracket racing and where I could agree from
seeing the screen shots of NHRA that it does appear to look  better Burnout is
still one of the best Sims (Yes I called it a sim) I have on my Hard drive and
there it will stay for a long time or at least until Burnout 2 (wishful
thinking).  NHRA will be PRO only and as I said I love Bracket racing,  So
where else would we get good sportsman class racing?
