NFSII and Test Drive4 does not recognize the wheel in setup or play.
I've installed the patch that came with the Sprint CD.  One thing I
noticed is in WIN98 game controllers, the status of the TM Sprint
wheel changes from connected to OK every few seconds.  Would this
mean I have a bad gameport.  I am using a port of a ESS soundcard.
Or would it be a bad driver on the sound card ?  Sound is coming
out okay.  Also the status of the wheel in Sprint pgm says connected.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I don't know if this will fix the problem, but I think I recall some
updated drivers for the Sprint at the Thrustmaster web site:
