I did that, but the game just crashed at the loading banner.  :-(

A shame, because I did want to keep 2k.

What is wininet.dll anyway?  Why is GPL so interested?

TOCA2 can't recognise cards properly in 2k.  The fix is to use regedit to
change TOCA2's "CardHintIndex" to, erm, 1 or 0.  I can't remember at the
moment, and I don't have the info handy.

http://www.ntcompatible.com outlines the procedure (in Games->TOCA2).

I've just tried this. It says to set it to 0 (from FFFFFF) but I then
just get a message that says that my graphics card doesn't support a
z-buffer. I assume it is still trying to use my old Millenium.

Ah.

Yes, it will.  Try '1', '2', '3' etc. until it works.
