CMR and Codemasters Helpdesk - poll

by Mar » Tue, 27 Oct 1998 04:00:00

hi all!

Having seen all the problems and bugs reported here about CMR and
people describing pointless calls to Codemasters 'Technical Support'
I got to wondering....

has anyone here ever received helpful information or had a problem
sorted out by the experts at Codemasters???

I can just picture the lines in their recruitment adverts 'no previous
experience of pc's required as any training considered necessary will
be given, previous customer service experience useful but not
essential, a proven ability to bluff would be invaluable'

Idle thoughts, but it would be interesting to compare notes!

I still am waiting for a reply from them about the dark-track menu bug that
happens when you install DirectX 6.0.

BTW, I wrote that e-mail to them the day after DirX 6.0 was released.

I've found them to be the most helpful technical support I have ever
phoned
