Online Motorbike Sims (SBK2000 & GP500)

I am looking for some advice and tips for running some online races.

I have a cable connection, and want to run some SBK2000 races and GP500
races.

I've tried SBK2k, and it isn't bad online, but it's not brillant.  Any tips
???

I'll be trying GP500 soon, any tips on how to get the most out of them??

I'll probably be hosting anywhere between 4 - 8 clients and maybe even more.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated....

You can check out www.simracingnews.com . Go to the forums section and there
is forums on both GP500 and SBK. Do some digging thru the past posts and you
will find a bunch of ICQ numbers. ICQ is mostly how we get races together
since there is no official online *** spot.

I know with GP500, you can usually get 5 or 6 peeps running on a cable
connection. Sometimes a couple more depending on the day and others
connections.

You can also check out http://www.racesimcentral.net/

action.

James,

I have both which I want to race online (when Telstra comes out
with a cable modem I've been waiting for 2 weeks to be delivered)
;/

More SBK2000 than GP500 at the moment though ;)

Cheers,
Rod.

I have both of them, my favorite being GP500. Unfortunately, I recently
took delivery of my GPL track converter so I'm busy trying to get a '67F1
Ferrari around Road America quicker than a modern day 600cc sportbike. I
think the bikes are kicking my butt! My best is 2:18...pathetically slow.
I'll get back on the bikes one of these days.

Actually the pole time for last years AMA 600cc SuperSport race
was 2:19.196.  Find another second and you will be up with the
750cc SuperSport machines.  The Superbikes, however, do put
you to shame.
