Monitor Powerdown problem

I too have a Reactor 3D board, and am experiencing the monitor powerdown issue.

When you guys talk about upgrading the Bios, are you talking about the Bios on
the Reactor, or my Motherboard?

I have an Award Bios on my motherboard, how would I go about upgrading it if
that is what is needed, and which version should I get?

Thanks for the info.

It's a known problem with the Reactor's rev58 BIOS.  The newest version
(rev73) that I'm beta testing has all but eliminated it.

Hi Eric,

Is this a monitor Energy Saving problem where the Monitor Shut Down Mode kicks
in but when moving the mouse in Windows, it won't wake up the monitor?

I have that problem but I'm not sure it's the Reactor card or something that I
might have installed software-wise on my system.

No.  For some reason they still haven't fixed that.  You can't use
energy savings modes with the Reactor, as the monitor will never wake
up.  The problem I was referring to was the tendency for the monitor to
powerdown and lock up the system when exiting a full-screen DOS session
back to the Win95 desktop.
