>E-mailed EA tech support about it and they say to use Mr. Thrustmaster
>with Need for Speed, I must use "the white adaptor".  It's been a while
>since I took Mr.Thrustmaster out of the box and gawd only knows where
>my "white adaptor" ran off to.  <sigh>

Get in touch with Thrustmaster...I'm certain that
they'll send you a new one for free.  They're great about
stuff like that.

Yeah I'm using my Wizard 'prowheel steering controller' works great
'cept there's no option to use buttons 3 & 4 for shifting you have to
use the mouse or the keys.

I have, and I love them both. The graphics win on NFS, but NASCAR is
better so far as racing goes. The action is more intense in NAS and
it's cool being able to setup your racing car. Also the panels on the
car dent to show damage, and sometimes even fall off(as does tyres).
On the other hand, being able to wheelspin (with squealing tyres and
great hordes of smoke) in forward AND reverse gears is not one to
miss.

It's best to play both games in SVGA........and it's best to play both
games.

ANd along this thread, I have the thrustmaster t-1 steering wheel and
pedals....So, why yhe heck doesn't NFS allow me to use the pedals, as
does NASCAR and IndyCar?  It's a little awkward to steer and shift while
accelerating using th ekeyboard....Any help would be appreciated.

The T1 comes with an adaptor that you need to use. It puts the pedals
on joystick 1 and it works great with TNFS. If you don't have the
adaptor, just email Thrustmaster for one.

Hope this helps,
