I am interested if there are any players who play GP2 with T2 or
something and are faster than keyboard users.
If you are, please tell what kind of help you are using and if none
how is your setup different and good at the same time?

I use a GP500 & drive with no steering help, OL or aids. My best times
are at Silverstone (1:22.6) & Aida (1:07.6). I think some keyboarders
have quicker times at Silverstone but I haven't come across a quicker
keyboard time at Aida (I do know of at least 2 quicker wheel/pedal times
though).
I currently have wheel lock set to 15 degrees but am thinking of reducing
it down to 13 or 14. Low sensitivity is set to 5% and reduce with speed
to 50%. Low sensitivity for accelerator & brake is 10% & 50%
respectively.
As for theory on setups it is difficult to explain! The manual gives some
info & others have regurgitated it in more readable formats, but it isn't
the whole story (in particular the manual and most others have the fast
damper explaination wrong). I'ld explain it if I could, but to be honest
I don't really have the time & I would probably be wrong in any case <g>.
Best bet is by trial and error - first learn a track _really_ well so
that your times are very consistent (if your splits differ by more than a
tenth or two, you're not being consistent enough!). Then alter a setting
& see what effect it has. If it doesn't help, try the opposite <g>
I hope you don't mind, but I'ld like to keep my exact Aida setup a bit of
a secret at the moment, but this one is quite drivable and capable of a
