Basically, I just connect to my ISP, then start SpyBoy. If you see
races, you're in luck. Pick which one you want, then click on it to
highlight. Then click the "Join" button at the top. SpyBoy will
automatically start GPL for you, just like VROC. You then connect via
mulitplayer, just like VROC.

Let me know if you get it working or have any other questions.

1) Just fire up Spyboy, and when you see a race listed that you would
like to join, click on it in Spyboy and then the "Join" button.
Spyboy will then launch GPL for you, and you'll have the chosen server
listed in your multiplayer section.  When you close GPL, Spyboy will
be back, refreshing to list available races.

2) Go to Step 1. :)

Its not dumb at all, we all had to start somewhere, and none of us
knew what to do the first time either! (in life generally?)

8-)    Try the following......

Fire up your internet connection.

Start GSB (spyboy)

Choose a race that you want to join by highlighting it with the mouse,
the "join" button at the top of the screen should become available.

Select the join button and Spyboy will start up GPL automatically for
you.

When in GPL select the multiplayer screen, select the join button in
the top left hand corner, click on the host's ip address in the right
hand window, select the green button in the bottom right corner.

You should now be racing with the host, and the others who are also
connected.
