Doesn't those last 3 games (SBK, etc.) all use D3D, where the first
group uses 3DFX? Which DirectX version do you use?
Normally this behaviour is a sign of an overheated videocard. But,
since only a select group of games have this, I think you can rule
that out. May I suggest that you visit Eric Cote's site, he just
released a chronicle about IRQs. Maybe you'll find a solution there.
Also, try the original 3dFX drivers which came with the videocard,
just to check it that will make a difference.
Another thing you can check is in what PCI slot you put the video- and
cound card. Some cards don't like to be put in a certain PCI slot,
especially when those PCI slots shared IRQs, for example with an ESA
slot.
